On Wednesday August 20, 2014 Deen and I leave for an adventure in Europe. We start in Ottawa with a bus trip to Montreal via Air France. We then fly overnight to Paris where we meet our son Geof, his wife Jane, and two daughters Casey and Jessie at an apartment near The Louvre. We spend 9 glorious days exploring Paris then Geof and family return to reality of work and school. Deen and I pick up our rental car and drive to Bourges for 4 days in the Loire Valley. Next is Lyon for a night then off to Montpellier for 4 nights in Provence. On Mon. Sept 8 we take a high speed train to Barcelona where we meet my brother Peter and his wife Janine for two nights in Barcelona. From Barcelona the 4 of us are on a cruise on HAL's MS Ryndam that takes us around France and Italy and two ports in the Adriatic. We finish with 2 nights in Venice then come home.
